I cannot recommend Power On Web Design highly enough! The service was exceptional from start to finish. They created an amazing website for me that exceeded all of my expectations. The design is professional, modern, and exactly what I was looking for. What really stood out was how helpful and supportive they were throughout the entire process. They listened to my ideas, offered great advice, responded quickly to every question, and made sure everything was perfect. Nothing was ever too much trouble. If you’re looking for a talented, reliable, and professional web designer, Power On Web Design is the company to choose. Thank you for all your hard work and for creating such an incredible website. Outstanding service from Martin at Power On Web Design. As a business based in East Lothian, it was important for us to work with someone who truly understood our brand, our local community, and the standard we aim to set - and Martin delivered all of that and more. He recently designed the brand‑new Macmac Cleaning Services Ltd website, and the result is nothing short of exceptional. The design is clean, modern, responsive, and perfectly aligned with our identity. Martin took the time to understand our services, our values, and the way we communicate with customers in East Lothian and Edinburgh, and he translated that into a website that genuinely elevates our business. Professional, responsive, creative, and incredibly easy to work with - I couldn’t recommend Martin and Power On Web Design highly enough. ~ Sean D

I cannot recommend Martin highly enough. Martin approached me at exactly the right time and made it incredibly easy to say yes. From the very beginning he took on the heavy lifting, not only with the technical build of the website but also by bringing strong ideas around branding, positioning and overall direction. What really sets Martin apart is that he thinks like a business partner, not just a web developer. He genuinely cares about the outcome, challenges ideas constructively and consistently looks for ways to make things better. His input has been invaluable and the impact on my business has been massive. On top of all of that, he is simply a great person to work with. Professional, proactive, reliable and someone who has quickly become a friend as well as a trusted partner. Without hesitation, I would recommend Martin and the work that he does. 5 ⭐️ ~ Lucy L

I came to Martin because my website was out of date and I was about to open a new clinic in Glasgow. I needed one site that worked properly for both the Edinburgh and Glasgow clinics rather than a patch on the old one. I was looking for a freelance designer rather than an agency because I wanted that personal touch, and Martin was the right fit. He revamped the whole thing and it now looks the part and ranks well in search, which is what I was after. He has continued to look after it since launch and covers both clinics for me, so it is not a case of building the site and disappearing. He is quick to respond whenever I need something, which means I can concentrate on my clinical work. He is also flexible with timings and will do calls in the evening to suit my schedule. I have passed his details on to colleagues, which says everything really. If you want someone who explains things plainly and actually delivers, I would not hesitate. ~ Eye C

I’m really happy with the website Martin built for my barbering salon. He took the time to understand the style and vibe I was going for, and the end result really reflects that. It’s clean, easy to navigate, and looks great on both phone and desktop. I’ve had a number of clients mention how professional the site looks and how easy it was to find information about the salon. It’s definitely helped give us a stronger online presence. Martin was professional, easy to work with, and made the whole process straightforward. I’d definitely recommend him to anyone looking for a well-designed, functional website for their business. ~ Salon L

Amazing service and experience. Contacted Martin to design and launch my website and from initial contact was first class. Friendly and personable while also the consummate professional. My request to design a bespoke new website exceeded all expectations. From initial meeting I made it clear to Martin that I was in no way tech savvy, and that I was a little apprehensive of what would be involved. Also, I gave him very little to go on however what he has produced is amazing. Through, what seemed to me, informal chats he’s managed to create my vision. Great communication all the way through, I was always provided updates on progress and the guidance Martin provided has been invaluable. He was more than happy to break things down so I fully understood. Little extras like helping with social media posts and QR code, as documented in the photos of review, were a nice touch. I would highly recommend Power On Web Design and I look forward to working with Martin as the website grows and develops. ~ Gerri B

Working with Martin has been one of my best business decisions. He took on the heavy lifting from day one and brought valuable ideas around branding and direction, not just the website itself. He did the work for me like he was invested within my own business - exactly what you want as a customer. He works like a true partner, always going above and beyond, and his support has made a real difference to my business. On top of that, he is great to work with and someone I trust completely. Top man, and great results. ~ Andrew M

Working with Martin Kay at Power On Media was excellent. Communication was clear and proactive throughout, and he not only understood my brief but suggested smart additions I hadn’t considered, everything from layout and user journey tweaks to SEO basics which really elevated the site. It’s clear he’s passionate, hardworking, and genuinely cares about the outcome. I approached Martin at Power On as I was needing a website created for my Edinburgh based recruitment business, which hasn't had a web presence for some time. My business is niche and mostly through referrals so I didn't need anything overly elaborate or to be sold to, which Martin understood. We decided on a Starter package brochure website design which takes a feed from my LinkedIn profile and allows my business to be found. My site looks clean and modern, I love it! Thanks Martin, great job! ~ Kate C

We are an Edinburgh based charity and are really pleased with the final website, it looks fantastic, functions smoothly, and reflects exactly what we hoped to achieve. One aspect we especially appreciate is the thoughtful consideration given to accessibility, particularly for clients with neurological conditions. The layout, colour choices, and navigation structure all feel intentionally designed to make the site as clear and user‑friendly as possible, which is incredibly important for the people who will be using it. We also want to acknowledge the extra effort Martin put in when it came to sourcing photos. We had very limited resources to work with, yet he went above and beyond to find high quality images that fit the tone and purpose of the site perfectly. That made a huge difference to the overall look and professionalism of the final product, and it didn’t go unnoticed. Martin’s technical skill and attention to detail are evident throughout the site, and we genuinely appreciate the work he put into bringing this project to life. Thank you again for delivering such a strong final result. ~ The N
